HOTEL LE CHANTECLER

Built in 1938 on the shore of Lac Rond in picturesque Ste-Adèle, Le Chantecler Hotel was at the time a lovely little Inn of 45 rooms. With the passing of years, Le Chantecler became a renowned resort and 4-star convention centre. The hotel has 179 rooms and suites, 17 meeting rooms as well as a ski centre with 17 ski trails.

Le Chantecler offers one of the most panoramic views of the mountain slopes all year round. Guests visit our property mainly for its atmosphere of relaxation, but the almost endless selection of activities available makes this breathtaking site suitable for those looking for adventure as well.

The hotel offers complete sport facilities, including an indoor swimming pool, sauna, whirlpool, squash court and fitness center. And if what you’re looking for is a moment of relaxation, cocooning and body care, our Health Centre (spa) features inviting services and treatments for all needs.

During the summer season, guests will certainly enjoy our private beach, 9-hole golf course tennis courts, and the many activities in the area, such as horseback riding or kayaking in the lake. During the winter season, families can be found downhill or cross-country skiing, ice skating or taking lessons in our excellent ski school. For those who prefer a less strenuous activity, there are snowshoe excursions, dog sled tours, sleigh rides and snowmobile outings.

The hotel’s team of devoted and hospitable employees show passion for service down to the smallest detail. The dining room, Ristorante Tre Monti, offers fine Italian cuisine with a breathtaking view overlooking Lac Rond. In summer, our large terrace is an absolute must for BBQs and drinks.

Over the years, the Gouverneur Hotel Le Chantecler has undergone several renovations, but all of them were carried out trying to keep the building’s original features as much as possible. Five minutes from the hotel, golfers can embark on a beautiful nine-hole par 3. Packages are available for two other nearby golf courses.

Skiers, you can buy a season’s pass online and get a quicker head start on the slopes.

In addition to their rustic charm, the rooms in the Auberge section offer views of the lake or the courtyard.

The Tre Monti restaurant offers fine Italian cuisine and in the summer, a BBQ grill on the outdoor terrace. From the restaurant, the view of Lac Rond is breathtaking!
